Love Live! School Idol Festival - Game Review

For today, I'd like to make a review of my favorite rhythm game : SIF! SIF stands for School Idol Festival, where the characters and stories are adapted from School Idol Project anime. This is an online game, and this game needs a lot of memory space (around 700-800 MB). But don't worry! This game is a lot of fun and very addicting!
This is the currently ongoing event from Japanese and English Version :

I'm playing both versions : English and Japanese. Of course, the Japanese version is a lot more updated, and I found it easier to collect Loveca stone (which will be useful for the honor scout) so, I'll do a review of the Japanese version! Game Modes:


Story Mode: Short scenes involving the characters. Read these as soon as they become available. 
  1. Main Story : This is the story about μ's daily routines. There are several chapters in every episodes. Each time you complete an episode, you'll get a loveca stone.
  2. Side Story : Will be unlocked everytime an idolized card's bond is in max. You can get loveca for each story. 


Club Mode: Edit Units, level up cards, awaken cards, sell cards. Cards being the characters.

Live Mode: Choose song, difficulty, unit, and play the rhythm minigame.

Currencies Overview:

This is a scouting page, where you can draw cards here.
LP: Stamina, used when performing Lives. Regenerates 1LP per 6 minutes, and recovers to max when you rank up.
Score: Increases depending on your Live performance and the characters in your unit. Higher score gives you better rewards when you complete a Live.
Combo: Increases depending on your Live performance. Higher combo gives you better rewards when you complete a Live.
Health: Decreases when you mess up in the Live performance. When it reaches zero you fail the live.
Exp: Get from completing Lives. Increases your rank.
Money: Get from completing Lives or selling cards. Used to level up cards, awaken cards.
  1. Loveca: In-app-purchase currency. Get by using real money or for free during events. Used to get rare cards or refill stamina.
  2. Friendship: Increases when you choose another player as support during a live. Generally 5 points. 10 points if the support is on your friend’s list.
  3. Coins : You can acquire the money from every time you finish a live, finishing every story chapters, or removing a character. 

Rank: Higher ranks unlock new songs and main stories. It also increases your health and friend limit.

There are also three categories of cards which will affect each songs : 
Smile: Exclusive to each card. Higher smile increases your score when you perform smile-attribute songs in Lives. Increase by leveling up cards.
Purity: Exclusive to each card. Higher purity increases your score when you perform pure-attribute songs in Lives. Increase by leveling up cards.
Coolness: Exclusive to each card. Higher coolness increases your score when you perform cool-attribute songs in Lives. Increase by leveling up cards.
